Fan Covers

A new design allows the shutter to stay in place when the winter cover is installed, sealing the fan opening in cold weather to prevent against cold drafts. The construction consists of a PVC frame with dual laminated 1" Styrofoam insulation. All fan covers come with aluminum corner caps to protect against drops and to provide overall better strength and stiffness. The plastic covering also allows easy washing and provides a clean appearance. The fan cover also comes with, clips for mounting and storage. Also available are new, heavy duty mounting clips, made of aluminum to prevent corrosion.

Fan Shutter

Fan shutters come standard with all Better Air wall-mount exhaust fans. Open and closes automatically with fan operation. Shutters available separately for replacement in fans of similar design.

Fan Hoods

Outside Fan Hood

Provides the same function as the outside wall hood. This design attaches over the fan housing, making mounting easier when barn siding is high rib steel. Hood may also be attached to housing prior to fan installation allowing inside installation on Multiple story buildings.

Round Hood

Elbow style round hoods now available from Better Air. Smooth air flow discharge, mounts to outside of regular wall fan.

Outside Wall Hood

Protect fan from snow and rain. Designed to hang lower to protect from gusts of wind. Useful where light entering the barn must be kept to a minimum. Special hood design protects building from condensation run-off when used in combination with fans mounted flush to outside wall. Hoods can be stacked for shipping. Available as two sizes.
